My Poor Skis

Monday was a beautiful day to go skiing which was exactly what I did.  With one of my friends, Maddy, we went to the Canyons to enjoy the beautiful day on the slopes.  We were having a awesome day skiing and eating yummy caramelized waffle in a tiny shack (they are delicious).  On one our last runs we decided to go into a run called the Abyss.  It's a run you go down into an abyss and ski in the trees.  When we were having fun I went of a five foot cliff I landed on a rock that was covered in an inch of snow.  My poor skis got a huge amount of the ski scraped out my the rock.  So know they are being fixed and it's very depressing because I won't be able to go skiing on Saturday now.
